\n As a parent and practitioner I understand how challenging infant and childhood health issues can be on a family. Recurrent health issues such as head and chest colds, sinus and ear infections, asthma, allergies, food sensitivities, ADHD, sleep and digestive issues are common among compromised immune systems. Pediatric health is highly responsive to chiropractic treatment. I work with parents and their children to fully understand their collective history and address chronic health issues. Many children are started on antibiotics at a very early age, which compromises their digestive systems and lends itself to a variety of food sensitivities and further health issues.         Dr. Shaw\u2019s pediatric assessment involves collecting a detailed account of both the child and the mother\u2019s history. This includes pregnancy, delivery, and early childhood history, as well as the mother\u2019s health history. From this point, Dr. Shaw assesses how to move forward, which might include testing for food sensitivities or allergies, as well as making dietary recommendations.
